Firms Fighting Diabetes also Present Investment Opportunity

Nearly 10 of the worlds population suffers from some form of diabetes. The condition, which affects both children and adults, accounts for roughly 12 of the worlds entire health expenditure, and is expected to reach a total cost of 2.5 trillion within the next 10 years. While there is no cure for diabetes, hundreds of millions of people around the world are able to live normal lives despite the condition, thanks to medical and technological solutions.
